[edit] Why Vegalitarian?
By treating every living being with respect and compassion, we will help ourselves, and the environment, tremendously. We will be healthier, live longer, and live to see a future that we can believe in.
The world today, as shocking as it is, is very different from how it is portrayed by the companies whose food and products we consume -- it is a world that civilized people can't possibly want to live in:
Manure in meat; parasites in sushi; billions of young birds who live for six miserable weeks before they're eaten by people who get sick eating them; pus in milk; the stomach lining of newborn cows in cheese; euthanized dogs and cats in pet food -- and in toothpaste and chewing gum; insects in lipstick; bacon, when alive, as intelligent as three year-old human children.[1]
